I found this site a while back and was SO impressed. Honestly, I did 'Fairy Gardens" for my wedding centerpieces, but they were not at all as elaborate as these little living gems.Take a look through the site, Little Landscapes, to see some of the amazing mini garden's they offer. Honestly, my thoughts on these are to make them yourselves. I would think if you have some little ones they'd LOVE the thought of planting and making mini gardens with you.
BUT... I'm too much of a kid to resist doing these on my own (I'll let my cats help, maybe).

Mushroom Forest Coffee Table - Honestly, I'm not sure if I would consider this adult or kids furniture, but I'm thinking that placing this in my garden would be FAB! Can you imagine how adorable it would look surrounded by flowers and such? What a great place for a tea-party. (Although at $995 per table I'm guessing I'd have to by a box of $1.99 Lipton)Created by Thomas Wold, Sold on Design Public.

While doing some 'window' shopping on Etsy (My favorite haunt) I found these wonderful little terrariums. I've tried to make a few myself, but have always used orchids (which I promptly kill... I'm a serial orchid killer).
madebymavis on etsy.com has created this little beauty, and has several for sale. I've also heard (although I can't confirm) through the grapevine that she's very open to giving you suggestions and helping you create your own little paradise.
I'm going moss hunting this weekend!

Yes, I've decided I must have a bedroom like this... at least for when I feel like sleeping in a bedroom like this.

I am quite sure I've never loved a chair quite as much as this. I may have had a few brief affairs with loveseats, but this chair..... *sigh* True Love.

Do you ever wonder if designers are simply messing with us? I get the distinct impression some designer made this and giggled... "hehehehe... lets see if people take this seriously and actually buy one!"

Simply the most amazing staircase I've ever seen. This is one for the scrapbook (yes, I keep a lame scrapbook of things I like and want to have some day... I'm friggin' materialistic like that)Apartment Therapy, just the best site ever, has a ton of super cool pictures of this.

I love fashion and because of that I have a healthy respect for going to the edge of ridiculous while dressing. EDGE of ridiculous.
I'll just say, no self respecting woman that is hoping to look slightly good this spring will fall fro this "trend". Clear shoes was cute when you were 11 and "Jellys" were all the rage. If you're an adult, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM CLEAR SHOES! Ok... I've said my peace.
Wait.. one more thing... does anyone find it slightly odd that they made "peep toes" in CLEAR shoes!? What the hell is peepy about that?? Your whole damn foot is showing, for crying out loud!
Ok... said more than my peace.

Let me say that there are two women in this world... ok 3... but two famous women in this world I would do anything to meet, or perhaps be... whathaveyou.Cindi Lauper (which goes without saying) is one of them, but this post isn't about her.
The other is Betsey Johnson. Her clothing line is always the very coolest. Her dresses are super girly, without being lame. Fun, Flirty... her shoes are simply mag. Her bags range from cool to Ohmygod I must have.
Here's a peek into her home. I want it. OH to have the cash to do this.....

According to listing information, the 1,660-square-foot, two bedroom, one bathroom, open-plan penthouse includes ebonized floors, a view over the rooftops of Greenwich Village all the way to New Jersey, a floating staircase that leads to a 1,000-square-foot private roof deck. Right now this pink apartment is for sale for $3.6 million.

I STILL Love Target....
To go along with my past "budget furnishing" post, I have decided to post my severe weakness for the Global Bazaar at Target.
This years Global Bazaar is being listed by color rather than location. I love that!! Make sure you check out their website to see some of the cool things you can look at. Below were my three favorite (I so want the Red!)

I did a little research. For me to get the same look in my living room I'd have to spend roughly $1762.80. Not great, but not too darn bad, really!!

I can't help tossing in a fashion post every once in awhile. I'm not sure if you've had a chance to peek at Pink Mascara site or not, but what a great site for the fashionistas! Now I will say, not the most inexpensive place ever, but seriously great ideas for what to wear.

This is some neat architecture! Can you imagine living in your own hobbit house? It's low impact and "green". But that's kind of secondary to being really neat looking.

Upgraded Modern Pet Bedding -
Of course, for the price tag they're getting for these, my cat best be getting a job. But seriously.. who really likes "pet beds" in their living rooms? They're always ugly, and for some reason most places feel the need to make them out of stupid country crappy looking fabric (as if I want geese with bows anywhere near my living areas). But THESE! *sigh* So pretty!
You can find out more and see a ton of other cool pet beds at b.pet.

Budget Furnishings -
Since I'm on a tight budget as of late, I think its important to add a few of the "budget furnishings" I've found around in the less pricey stores (Yes, Walmart... I hate the fact that you need to disinfect yourself after exiting the store, and that you always run the chance of contracting some hideous skin disorder by shopping there, but it's CHEAP dammit!)
Target.................................
$79.99 Magazine Table

$249.99 Metropolitan Loveseat

Wal-Mart...............................
$119.99 Queen Platform Bed -

$34.74 Brushed Steel Task Floor Lamp

Black & white living rooms - Gorgeous, but practical? I would assume if I got rid of my cats, perhaps sold off my child, and didn't touch anything it would stay beautiful.
I do love the graphic touches of classical added into the modern mix.

Wallies Peel and Stick Chalkboard! This is super cool. How perfect for a kids room, home office, or kitchen?? My suggestion on this to my employer is going to be a "who's coming in" type board. You know when you go visit a business and they have that chinsy board with the white peg letters spelling out that you're visiting? You know... the "Company welcomes :" then they stick your name in? Well, we wanted a huge monitor so we could do something cool like that.. but that's pricey... so this may be a cool idea for now.
